it can be hard to play games on shrooms. i usually just lose complete interest the moment i look at a menu. but theres a been a few times where i've managed to play Rez and that is just the perfect game for it.
but 9/10 times im gonna listen to music and not want to do anything else or stare at the pattern on my carpet for 2 hours.

I'M THINKIN about getting some leftover pasta. It wasn't anything fancy but I frizzled half a pound of ground pork in a pan until I had cooked out most of the liquid with some salt and pepper and basil and oregano and I had some garlic cloves that I needed to use you know how it is with garlic so I cut those up into it too and then I dumped a jar of store pasta sauce on top and a good pile of sliced olives because you gotta have some sliced olives in there for the little salty nibbles and then I cooked that together a bit as I was boiling the pasta, then once I started mixing them together I thought YOU KNOW I want more cheese in there so I shook in a few good shakes of the cheap cardboard parmesan but then I also got out a brick of cream cheese and sliced off a good wodge of it and poured just a tiny bit of water in and turned the heat back on 'cause why shouldn't I have a creamy cheesy tomato sauce with my pasta this is America god damn it and in the end it was very nice and well worth fucking around with the pasta sauce rather than just banging it on

I started getting paranoid about dying randomly from a stroke or blood clot or whenever there was a pain in my chest. I can't tell if it happened because I started smoking weed so I've stopped doing it. I don't want any long term mental health effects.

Yep. I went to the ER at 2am because I felt like my legs were losing circulation and they were red as fuck. I was also shitting blood for weeks so that didn't help my paranoia. They said my blood circulation was fine so I guess it was nothing. I stopped smoking after that.

Taking a break right now because my dad is running for governor and I don’t wanna be that “politician’s son who’s a fucking pothead” but if I had some weed on me right now I’d play the shit out of Death Stranding.
I do recommend Ghost Recon Wildlands, Metroid Prime, and Black Ops Zombies. But really any game you enjoy and has a decent enough atmosphere should work, especially if it has a first-person POV. Arma Reforger is good too but you gotta turn the voice chat volume down a bit

Now I gotta decide if it's time for some computer roleplaying with the LLM, play some Night in the Woods, or use the boundless productive energy of this weed to get my Morrowind install all up to date with the latest OpenMW and TR version since I've been wanting to start a new character. When I get high even little I just crash on my bed I can even sit at the desktop I watch YouTube slop and get fat by eating takeout

Is there a right way to "enjoy" weed? There has been a few times in my life where after smoking a joint I have had amazing and immersive gaming experiences, but basically ever other time I have touched weed (and other substances, sans alcohol caffeine etc) I become borderline psychotic and completely driven by this weird introspective anxiety/paranoia and just end up going to sleep so I can wake up sober again. I have abstained from any substances for this reason, but I've been tempted to smoke a joint and chuck on some comfy crpg to try and get that awesome experience again.

Yeah, hence why I just stay off it all together. Haven't done any drugs since my late-twenties and I am in my mid-thirties now. Took many bad experiences to learn that lesson, as I am retarded. Still have some fond memories, hence why it is tempting from time to time but I always say to myself that I will try it again when I have nothing that could possibly cause me anxiety but my job is a constant source of mild stress so I just have never gone back to it at all.
