First, I wanna state that I think it's a really good return to form for the series. It feels like BF again, although I do think the TTK criticisms are accurate. However, despite the fact that I have put thousands of hours into BF multiplayer across BC2, BF 3, 4 and 1, and that for a significant period of my life multiplayer FPS games were probably 60% of my gaming... I just don't enjoy them anymore. I find them anxiety producing and stressful. It's a weird realization. Maybe its having exponentially more responsibility now, or just being old and tired, but despite feeling like it was nice to see BF get back to being BF, I couldn't make it more than about 10 matches.

I was very disappointed to see that the anti aliasing options are lacking. It's just TAA, DLAA and all the other flawed methods. Not only that, but this is the least customizable graphics menu I've ever seen in a dice game, even when you go into advanced. There's barely any customization on anything. It might just be that that the beta locks out everything for parity, i don't know. But if this is the final menu then this game is literally console level. It has none of the great customization of Dice's past games. Don't know about this game but in bf3 and 4 it was all about knowing what speed gives you the smallest turning radius then trying to maintain that speed throughout the dogfight. Doing loops up-down tends to be better than going sideways since most people will fuck up and either speed up or speed down too much and if you do it right you will get their tail.

It's funny because the game is REALLLY great outside the maps that's totally shit, not even the fact that they are small they are just super bland and shit.

it was pretty hard to go 100-0 in bf2 as a jet. ground attack potential was limited to couple dummy bombs with pretty small splash radius. ofc every now and then you'd get a money shot but it's not consistent. bf3 jets were crazy good though. you could 3d spot for yourself so you basically had wallhacks on every enemy vehicle and infantry that put a glowing red chevron on top of everyone. but even then 100 kills was kind of rare, think my average full conquest rounds on wake island in bf3 were like 60-70 kills

The point being air strafing and jumping aren't good when you're a target for more than 2 people.
