Well realistically speaking phone guy actually gives a pretty decent explaination for why the animatronics move around at night, especially since they dont even move around much on night 1. It's only after like night 3 or 4 where something is clearly wrong but also at that point you're halfway done with the week so you might just want to try finishing out the week for the paycheck to not have wasted the last couple of nights staring at a wall.
