it's crazy how sotc used the emptyness of the environment as a story and pacing tool, it's not even a traditional open world because it's literally just a room that you have to cross-navigate to get to each next boss, but it handles "open world" better than any actual open world game.

Shadow of the Colossus is the only game there where you're riding a horse. In the bottom two you actually become the horse directly, hence why it moves exactly how your controller tells it to.
