I hate when people say "the graphics looked like shit". No, it WASN'T, it was simple (mainly due to technological limitations) but it had charm. The people who perpetuate this notion usually make these claims when they hook up their old consoles to LED/plasma TVs with an AV2HDMI adapter instead of a CRT TV. You can argue that it would look like shit on a CRT unless you use anything that isn't composite or coaxial cables, which people back then commonly used. It's also hard to get a CRT for cheap due to every fucking reseller price gouging the fuck out of sets that don't even include component or S-video input. I understand. But it feels a little unfair to look back this far in hindsight and not see how far we have come.
