There's not a single creative or unique aspect about KF3, it is essentially just a remake of KF2 but worse. Like a lot of people all I ever wanted/needed is the games to capture that grindhouse b-grade horror film gorefest aesthetic with well animated weapon porn and the dark humour british charm that KF1 captured so well. They just had to lean into the Bri-ish exterminator specialist squad narrative more and continue to flesh out the gore system, character building, and weapon customisation. The game could have captured a grungy niche that no other games are aiming for.

Basically there are some people suffering from some hardcore buyer's remorse because they dumped $40 USD on this game that was not marked early access but is very clearly still in early access and seeing it drop below 5,000 active players on a weekend probably sets off all kinds of alarm bells so they come to this website to gauge interest in the topic with their 'peers' not knowing that they game is under-performing because a vast majority of its' captive/potential audience have already turned their collective noses up at it.

KF2's gameplay was mostly fine. Door welding changes (assuming I'm even remembering them correctly since IIRC, doors would automatically get destroyed after a certain amount of time or something like that), EDARs, and shitty bosses were the main problems with its gameplay.
My main complaints with the game aside from EDARs revolved around the aesthetics and tone.

The adoption & player numbers are somewhat similar to kf2 at release.
Arguably, kf2 had near to no content at release either.
So we can't tell for sure where kf3 is going, but the comparison really stops there.
kf2 actually felt straight up amazing since the very first early access release. The gunplay was sharp, animations and AI worked fantastic. Kf3 in this department is an unbelievable step down. It looks horrible and feels horrible.

Because I only gave it 2 hours and refunded, I can't really tell wether the movement changes are bad or not. I play darktide as far as I can tell they copied the movement scheme from that, except they made it clunky and seemingly redundant. I tried using the dodge against scrakes and got hit every time, so maybe I just didn't get it. At least you can still knife-parry them. The slide I used to go fast, but it didn't really seem useful like in darktide where it gives you ranged immunity and you can even chain it at the end of a dodge.

Same for the new characters/perks/upgrade. I don't think those changes and ideas are necessarily bad. But I didn't give it a chance because it just played like shit. Kf2 would have never taken off if it was even half that bad in 2015.
