Didn't use source engine 2 so i don't care. EYE is the good kind of jank because it's familiar to me.

It will not be received as highly when you see how that shit will play on another engine.

It's pretty ok and even fun in the first 15-20 hours. Then you'll start playing on higher difficulties which makes it necessary to put on better gear on (and level up) the character's you're not playing, since bots use the stats for that character you're using when playing them. The game's still quite playable solo, and even more fun, on higher difficulties, but it requires a lot more effort to make the bots viable for that difficulty. The bots are great though, far from the limp useless fucks they are in (((Darktide))).

It's fine but i would matchmake into random games if i were you anyway. That way you can can have at least one player that is able to correct the fucked up direction of bots, because the AI is sometimes unreliable. If you're having trouble with finding games then you should be able to do it on lower difficulties, just forget higher.

I found Vermintide to be a completely feasible game as in i just played with random people all the time. That's rarely the case with many co-op games, it's because the playerbase for the game was always very good.

Yeah and Necromunda had pretty fucking mid gameplay as well, but: It was visually great (amazing, at times), had some cool urban exploran vibes and nailed the setting aesthetics, so I'm hopeful they'll manage to bring that EYE jank fun back again, because that's the only thing missing...
