Deus Ex
I have only played the first deus ex. Are the sequels worth playing? Do they go into conspiracy stuff too? I was thinking about trying invisible war next.

dx hr is a conspiracy where the world revolves around the protagonist and augmentations and no one is a real person

Really? None of them come even close? I saw an Xbox copy of invisible war at a game store for like 2 bucks. Is it worth trying for the hell of it?

Human Revolution and Mankind Divided are wroth playing. Invisible War is just a ripoff and way dumbed down version of the original game. The prequels mention the beginnings of the conspiracy stuff, but all the major bad stuff happens right before the first game so things are pretty normal relative to the decaying world of the first game.

They're 7th gen console games with everything that entails and fanfiction tier writing.
Everything we memed about based on the trailers turned out to be true, but casuals still swallowed it and somehow convinced themselves the games were good.

Yeah I saw invisible war suffered from consolitis. What a shame.

I remember some mod for deus ex 1 that had some orange filter over it talking about DLC. Guess it wasn't kidding.

OP, just play Desusex with mods.
Revision, GMDX, VMD or try custom campaigns like Nihilum, TNM or some other stuff

I liked the malkavian mod. Currently trying the ps2 version to see what's different, some of the new music is hit or miss.

Human Revolution is good, its not exactly the same as Deus Ex but nothing ever will be. That's its biggest flaw in the eyes of most people, by itself its a perfectly enjoyable game that offers you a lot of different ways to complete your objectives.

And of you like HR then try Mankind Divided, unfortunately it's only half a game though

Are you a Power Generator?
Large enough to power up a building?

>I have only played the first deus ex.
What a strange thing to say considering there's only one of them.

Human revolution is a better metal gear solid game than a deus ex game

You could still try playing Invisible War because it's a really short game. Don't bother going a stealth route because it's boring and terrible.

Play Peripeteia instead. It's way better than this old fuck garbage.

I like invisible war. There were some stupid design decisions but overall I think it is worth a play.
I dropped HR and never bothered trying MD.

I don't hate Invisible War like most other people, but it is DEFINITELY a worse game than the original, though I do think it has some redeeming qualities (the best advice I can give you is: make a melee build, not only is it much more fun, but it's also really strong and you aren't forced to deal with the completely retarded universal ammo system)

Human Revolution is pretty good, Mankind Divided is weird because it doesn't really do anything wrong in terms of gameplay or length (several aspects are improved over HR), but the story feels like filler and ends on a cliffhanger that will never be resolved because Squeenix are retarded cunts
Human Revolution felt like a fully rounded story, Mankind Divided feels like act 2 in a larger story that will never be completed
