We need to put a stop to all game purchases on Steam until we figure out what the hell is going on.

Even if this image was made before the sale, it went on offer for like 3 bucks or something so many people library-ed it.

It takes like 30 seconds to realise the jumping is fucked and you should stick to the originals.

This remake sucks, but I still got all the platinum relics in CB1. I'm not even a Crash fan.

Sorry, I am not going to grind fucking platinums in a shitty ass game. If you enjoy doing the god awful bike levels over and over until you overcome the god awful controls, then good for you.
In fact, Crash 2 is so kino that I'll probably 100% the PS1 version in retroachievements as well and ignore that 3 exists

I've never understood why people like 2 so much, it always felt like the weakest to me, especially thematically. The design of the levels in 1 mapped with your journey across the islands, while 3 was linked to various time periods. 2 was just a random mishmash of snow, industrial and jungle levels.

People bought this game purely based on nostalgia. I did it and I was surprised of how hard this is truly is. I completed all 3 but honestly it was not easy at all. Some levels were painful. But once again as kid I probably never completed them.

I notice that your explanation lacks any mention of the gameplay aspect of the game. Explain yourself immediately or hand in your card, please.
(The reason is that all the gimmick levels in 3 suck dick and that's half the game. 2 is purely the good stuff and has better level design and less annoying BS than 1.)

Because the jumping physics are fucked, and the pill shaped hotbox is inaccurate to the OG's box shape - resulting in tons on unintended deaths. I'm normally a defender of good remakes/remasters - but fucking up that core aspect is unforgivable for a platformer.

I honestly didn't feel all that much difference between the platforming sections of the three games. 2 had stupid gimmicks as well (such as the digging parts and the jet-pack sections). Perhaps I'm just not able to pick up on the nuance that indicates a level is good.
