I use a guide and walkthrough every game I play

I use walkthroughs to see what % of the game I completed. For some reason I need to know that at all times. I don't like when the game ends suddenly or goes on longer than I expected

I get that aswell. Due to autism I have a habit of getting so caught up in a game it is difficult to let go, so being reminded that it is finite and will eventually end, and when I should expect it to end, helps me stay grounded and reasonable.

storyline? you get betrayed and tons of people die, why even have the other faction and split the quest content when one is so shit compared to the other

Might as well just watch a let's play at that point. I go hard blind in every game. Only if I get stuck long enough to get frustrated I'll look up how to get passed that certain point.

I heard Elden Ring can fuck you over if you do something out of sequence.

I only use guides and walkthroughs for games that are obnoxiously obtuse and full of missable bullshit like most classic JRPGs.

most games these days are braindead slop
i couldnt imagine having to use a guide in the majority of the games from the last 10 years

Not really but i look deep into abilities and weapons damage. And usually make my own off meta builds that always work and somehow make people seethe.
I hate heavy cooldown use and usually build around easy to use pressure builds that revolve more about rotational stuff with some good passive survival and reactional stuff.
