What don't you get? It's pretty much just dig down, fight boss, repeat. Eventually it'll become build up, fight boss, repeat.

yeah you have to have the wiki open to enjoy it

can you build cool, fortified bases in this game?
i like games where your base gets under attack every now and then, but you can fortify it so much that the enemies are barely a threat, so that it feels comfy to be inside

>Do a normal playthrough, go through all the loot and resource progression
>Beat wall of flesh and enter hard mode
>Realize the devs didn't really think TOO far ahead and even though Hard Mode is sort of a New Game+ Type deal where you get to repeat ore progression and fight tougher version of the main bosses
>Realize Hard Mode worlds suck ass as you get constantly attacked by events
>Make a secondary world and don't kill the wall so you can build neat shit without needing to pop down overpowered moonlord sentries to deal with the event spam
>Play master once and realize it's YouTuber crap
That's pretty much it.
