Crysis was the last good looking game. The perfect balance between visual quality, sharpness and visual noise and detail.

Crysis is amazing, it would be my fav FPS ever if not for the existence of Half Life. It's a shame that it got so much attention for the grafics, there's an excellent game under that. I love how the story revolves around aliens, it makes for the perfect setting. The "super technological suit that gives soldiers superhuman powers" is handled extremely well, no other games does it "right" like Crysis does. There's an actual skill ceiling to using your suit powers effectively, and it's a blast to fight NPC:s who also have the suits. The enemy AI is impressive, if you hide in a house the soldiers will form search parties and start clearing rooms to try and find you. The friendly NPC:s come off looking real and have personality. Of course, as everyone already knows, it also looked great with a beautiful color palette.
I absolutely loved Crysis, will probably replay it (again) for the nostalgia.
