Nah it's still a good quote.
The Undertale/Deltarune fandom might be cringe but the source material is actually quite good.
It's kind of like The Joker from The Dark Knight, we roll our eyes at him now because of how popular he was among teenagers, but if you watch the movie without that baggage, he's a very well-done character.

The dark knight is a good comparison. Not even just the joker, but the movie itself. Undertale is a decent game, but people act like it's the only game in existence and that's quite annoying. Can't speak for deltarune, I haven't played that, though it's not nearly as unavoidable as undertale was
