How do I stop getting mad at horror games?

been playing Outlast Trials on and off since the beta came out a few years ago. it's a really fun game that's held back by how hard it is to get a full squad

I beat Outlast 1 a while ago. Good game but I wasn't really feeling the hyped terror desu, and apparently Outlast 2 is one of the scariest games ever, but we'll see.

Personally I much prefer horror games that give you some tools to fight back against the horror. Amnesia getting popular with its long dark corridors and Spooooooooky chasing sequences set a bad trend.

After breaching the seal what can be only described as black gaseous entity filled part of the room, scouring around the study chamber and showing signs of intelligece. Director thinks this could be something promising.
