Burnout 3 has like 2 bodies per class and the rest are essentially just paint jobs which makes the lineup pretty boring.

I prefer Gaim (series before), but Drive was pretty good. It had its comedy moments, the side content (that year's Taisen movie, the web series, post-ending movies) was top notch, and the ending had some 10/10 moments. It's just that it had some mid points near the beginning and in the middle.
It's also WAY better than Ghost (series after).
I recommend it.

r4 had a decent amount of variety like the 3 wheeler, hovercar and the scootacar

The sad part is that there's probably dozens of media that had the same last minute rewrites.

It's very good. It's got a really great cast of characters and a really fun story. Some people think it starts of a little bit slow, though. Personally, I don't think it's all that slow at all.
