Please explain to me, on a technical level, how the fuck World of Warcraft can have 50000 expansions, and I can go back and play them without a problem, yet Destiny 2 shits its pants after its 4th expansion? How the fuck do you need to start "vaulting" (remove expansions) older content that your players PAID for because of some technical limitations? How incompetent do you have to be if this is the truth? I can go back and play WoW expansions from 2 fucking decades ago, and there are plenty of other MMOs who can do it as well.

sony decided that game takes too much space on their precious hardrives and d2 players wont have space to install new ones.
it is simple as that. sony said "you can expand your playerbase if users can have your game installed along with cod or any other bloated gaas" and they believed it.
imagine if you could downpatch your game and play it with friend using the p2p connection the game is designed to use anyway...
