Battlefield 6 is raping my CPU.
>13700KF, 16 cores, 100% utilization, 95°C.
Why is BF6 raping my CPU?

it doesn't get this hot if you have proper cooling. the game has nothing to do with it. you are retarded.

Because it's one of the rare games that if given the chance will take advantage of more than 8 cores.

Why would you buy a modern Intel i7 and not get appropriate cooling? You need double tower air cooling or water cooling.

Nigga your cpu is frying, put a better cooler.
Even a ryzen 5500 12 core doesn't reach 90% utilization.

5500 is super budget hiufhbeit. Its like a weaker version of intel 12400 which is budget no cap. The higher end cpus like to get hot and op has the 13700

>hurrdurr you're running 95C fucking retard
Intel throttles at 100C.
But seriously, OP, you need to buy a new CPU fan and replace it. I was literally in the same boat as you a month ago. I realized that running at 95~99C during demanding games for over 2 years was probably not what should be happening. As it turned out, my thermal paste was basically evaporated.
For your own sake, buy a new cooler, preferably NOT the shitty stock cooler Intel probably gave you when you bought the CPU.

>the problem is not that your cpu is closing the thermal limit

Oh yeah, running a high cpu stress game in a cpu that normaly already needs a lot of energy is not the problem, sure.

If you're playing modern game on a cheapo CPU that didn't cost arm and leg, then you're playing PC wrong. You need to spend 2000$ minimum (exclusing storage drive costs) if you want to be seen as a legitimate PC gamer.
