I'm using MLB Special Week event and get a few hundred FP per day, but if Sweep is getting ~40 borrows I might try it out. I tried other MLB SRs and got nothing
I have 250 followers, horse usage is capped out daily, but card only gets ~20 hits (which is fine... but numbers go up applies everywhere)

Finally made potential 5 gold ship. Want to train for champions meeting with 2 stam and 4 speed supports. Should I drop Creek if she only level 30 for level 45 sr card or should I keep it. I'm planning to use Go-Home Specialist anyway and wonder if I still need Swinging Maestro if Creek by itself as stat stick isn't that good. I plan to run Manhattan and Mayano srs instead.

The track has a downhill during mid race so it should be fine.
You need 830 stam +1 gold (assuming end closer) so 4spe/2sta should be fine.
Maestro is better, but your substitute is viable so it's up to you on card selection - go for better friendship and speciality priority on the stams. I like Mayo, but I think she starts at 0 friendship even MLB so takes a while to get online. Not sure about Creek, I only borrow MLB
I would try to use a mix of power and stam sparks to keep power up along with the speed training spam
I usually get 400-450 without bringing a wit card so I think you'll be fine there.
I'm running 4spe/2sta on my long builds so you may find you can even drop a stam for a power/wit/whatever if you are mostly using stam sparks

I'm planning to go for Power/Stam sparks, but I honestly don't have good 9* Stam or Power yet. But at least I might be able to get Maruzen unique since I have her. Don't know second unique to get. Might get U=MA2.
Honestly want to try Power supports instead of Stamina and go full Stamina sparks, since I saw really good Gold Ship in team trials that focused on power supports, but I don't know what Power srs are good and I don't have Vodka SSR. How is Winning Ticket freebies SSR anyway?

Hishi Amazon power SR is good, has good stam training boosts too so would work well with what you are trying to do
I also use Helios SR as she has a +20 energy event, but not that great otherwise
I only use Bourbon SR for front runners
I tried and dropped Biwa SR due to too much energy loss events
I have 0LB Vodka, El Condor and Oguri but use those mentioned MLB SRs over them, unless I need Breath of Fresh Air from Vodka
I'm typically not bringing stam cards on milers/sprinters and will get 600+ stam from, say 12* stam, 6* power sparks, 2 power SRs (or 1 + borrowed MLB Vodka)
For mediums though I find I need one stam card to get 800+ with sparks, but that doesn't factor in having an innate gold recov like pot5 Golshi

the pvp that exists right now is less about winning, and more about the number of skills your team uses during the race. at least thats how it was explained to me. yes there is a bonus for winning, but the score at the end of the race is determined more by the number of skills that went off.

the scores are not cumulative, so its just basing your ranking off your high score for the week.

There's a fair bit of RNG, starting from the randomly rolled moods. The team trials are also quite swingy since you run into a lot of people with A rank umas that are great for career but garbage for PvP. Especially medium and long races you run into opponents who lose by distance due to low stamina.

Your rank is shown on the team trial front page, ranking up is calculated weekly and only your highest score for the whole week matters.

Saving in gacha can be a meme especially as F2P, you need pulls to be able to progress more easily. Especially in this game where stats and races directly influence your ending sparks. The only saving that was really needed was for Kitasan.

If you don't have a workable support deck then it's a good time to roll. The game is pretty awful grind that feels like it's going nowhere if you don't have some good SSR cards or almost MLB good SR cards. You need those to get enough raw stats to reliable start winning career and then you can start trying to get good sparks to further build up your pvp roster.

Cards are way more important than upcoming uma banners. Umas are unfortunately more of a luxury especially as a newer player.
Get your deck going with a bunch of solid SR's and a Super Creek or two first, that 12k should hopefully be enough.
