People are bored to tears of mafia shit and have been since the 90s. Also the last game had a nig MC which made a lot of people write off the franchise.

I'm enjoying it alot. But it's is a linear story game. So if you aren't into that and want "real gamer shit" like "complexity, deph, and skill expression". Probably wont like this game.

story was aight but fairly 1 dimensional. kind of disappointed in cesare's arc overall. game overall isn't bad but isn't particularly good. I personally don't see why they even gave you the opportunity to loot and get money. there's fuck all to buy and I get more money looting 2 dudes than I do from finding those random tricinera things, all it did was make me run everyone's pockets like a homeless dude and waste time looking for locked boxes before i remembered there's nothing to buy besides another palette swap of the 4 outfits or guns that are pretty much free anyways.

for whatever reason as well I really didn't feel as if there's all that much interaction between your own crime family and its retarded that a guy who rats on the family is actually just an enemy dude who apparently did some amazing detective work after seeing you while he was in jail

The characters talk like they're modern people
They don't realize how bad sicily illiterate levels were in the early 1900s
Also the writers seem to think that "minchia" is the same filler word as "shit" (it's not, totally used wrongly)

It is the same as every other mafia, story > shitty stealth > shoot > drive, but it has completely flat characters (Maybe 2 or 3 are interesting), godawful writing and even the driving isn't enough to carry it, also I disliked Enzo's VA so it made it worse.
The presentation is pretty good I will give it that
