i didnt finish abzu, but its just journey underwater. the actual coolest underwater area i've explored in many years, much to my surprise, is in genshin impact

It's a very pretty game but it doesn't reach the same kind of highs that Journey did. It's also not as replayable, at least for me personally. I could replay Journey countless times and not get tired of it
Some parts of this game made me shit myself ngl, there's an abyss themed area that's scary as fuck
But all in all it's relaxing, I wish the game had focused more on various types of environments rather than the boring mechanical shit.

I'm surprised nothing bothered me in the game considering I have a huge fear of being in the water, especially deep water. I don't remember an abyss-like part of the game.

There's a part with giant squids and shit. I think I might be mixing up several areas together, there's a different one where you swim towards one of these huge pyramids and the water is super deep and open, with whales you can barely see in the darkness, this shit makes my asshole pucker
