I think there's a bit of confusion where people sort of half-buy into the whole tranny thing and start treating them like some third disease-gender instead of the retarded men they are.
The snapcube guy is funny in the same way that many other men are funny.

Video games are different though because their communities are full of morally righteous crusaders who WILL stalk and harass you for not buying into their delusions. Probably the most recent example I’ve seen is with the Smash 64 mod where they got the original announcer to record new lines for the custom characters they added in for the mod. His VA work replaces the modding team’s original volunteer voice who does a pretty good imitation of the original dude, but the volunteer apparently is a troon and all the commenters on any video about the mod WILL reminder you of “her” pronouns if you slip up and call a dude with a very clearly male voice a guy.

You cannot take a “live and let live” approach to these people, because they sure as fuck will not give you the same charity.

Well sure, and you can't save an alcoholic by enabling their addiction.
I do think troonery and its acceptance is a real and present danger.
I'm just saying that the stink of their illness doesn't need to permeate all that they do.
You and I have probably enjoyed the artistic output of a great many people who live their lives in ways that seriously are genuinely harmful to themselves and those around them.
It apparently isnt enough to totally ruin what we do enjoy about their work
But it does sometimes diminish the enjoyment. to varying degrees. Sometimes it is enough to make me avoid it entirely but has to do with my particular sensibilities at the time
