Did you know that in the mid-00s, Capcom somehow ended up with a Nightmare Before Christmas license and decided to give it to the team that made the Devil May Cry games. You can even check the credits and see the same people pop up. It's basically DMC-lite, and you can clearly see some gameplay concepts that would later go into DMC4 and Bayonetta. It’s pretty fun, give it a try if you get a chance.

yeah some games in the mid 2000s had weird rehashs into other ips. for example disney did a tony hawk game with pixar characters and random irl kids from a skating contest.
