Mumbai is only a pain the first time you play it and Colorado is way better now than it was on launch. Paris is a painfully slow and repetitive map that has most of the classic hitman gear locked behind mastery levels.

>>717688861
slow and repetitive?
that's because you played it to many times it is one of the easiest and most traversable maps in the game and it's not even that big unlike Mumbai which is way too fucking huge and it takes almost an hour to beat it plus its in a shithole. Colorado is completely flat and you have to wear a disguise to even get anywhere,

After playing 1&2 on PS4, I bought the entire trilogy on Steam for the summer sale because playing these games on console was really dumb in retrospect

I could swear I remember SASO requiring you to play on Master before, did they change it? I'm doing it anyway of course
Excited to get to 3, but I've got to re-earn everything first. Next up is Colorado. Any tips for the Master SASO? I did it before but I remember it being super fucking rough

I do gotta admit, it is kinda lame how easy Paris is, you don't require a disguise to approach either target
It's the first level though so I can let it slide

Actually doing any of the story missions takes forever because of how insanely long the Russian dudes loop is. Lights out takes over ten fucking minutes no matter what you do. Meanwhile the entire map is essentially just a 3 story building where the only real challenge is having to back track repeatedly. Dubai only looks big and the targets both have fun optional kills and can just be killed at your leisure.
>Colorado is completely flat and you have to wear a disguise to even get anywhere,
Skill issue

This game is fun, but the replay value is kinda stale. The alternative kill methods don't offer much of anything.

I mean if you're just talking about the mission stories, sure, but even they add a way to fuck with NPC scripting to produce more entertaining kills
The whole game lends itself really well to challenge runs and speedruns and shit.

Its significantly easier now that you can hide in the grass. All 4 targets can be taken out with accident kills from a distance without much trouble.

IIRC, there was separate normal and hard challenges for SASO, but I think only in Hitman 1. Or something like that anyway.

Lol no he's by far the easiest. He regularly goes to a small shed near the house with only two guards that can easily be taken out. He also smokes right by a lawnmower that can be made to leak gas.

Marrakesh is great. One of the few two target maps that actually feels like its designed for two targets.

It's the worst of both worlds
>two targets on entirely separate areas of the map that have be infiltrated separately, making the whole process an exercise in tedium once you have your route down
>And none of the actual challenge since you always have the option of just sending the poisoned food to one of the targets, bypassing the need to infiltrate his area entirely

What? Its the best version of that set up in the game.
>both target locations are easy enough to infiltrate and have their own set of options for what to do once you're inside.
>at the same time both targets can still be taken out without ever having to set foot inside either location
>all of this can consistently be done in a fairly short amount of time with almost no back tracking or other time wasting fuckery

School is a complete pain to do on Master
And the only real way to take out Claus while he's in the embassy without entering it is sniping him, which will of course ruin your score
I would have less of a problem with the map if the same was true of Zeydan. I actually like Sgail quite a bit because it really leans in to being a challenge. Both targets are to difficult to approach and far from each other, but it works better there because the starting locations are right near of the targets, yet despite that it's still quite difficult to kill her without getting caught

>all of this can consistently be done in a fairly short amount of time with almost no back tracking or other time wasting fuckery
I'll admit it's better than pointlessly huge maps like Mumbai but it's the premise is flawed in the first place.

I don't see that as a major issue then again I really enjoy sniping in these games and was never a fan of how its treated as the red headed step child of methods in the new trilogy
>I actually like Sgail quite a bit because it really leans in to being a challenge.
I have very few nice things to say about it. Especially on the first few playthroughs before you've unlocked the other approaches. Its always felt like a map that was built around spectacle rather than gameplay.
>Ah, you like theme parks, that explains it
What? These maps are meant to be played multiple times, of course I enjoy the ones that feel like they actually had some thought put into their appearance.
