Is Nine good? I'm trying too get into this game (already practiced Susanoo and I feel pretty comfortable with him) but Nine is my favourite character and she's consistently rated respectably wherever I look but she doesn't seem that great to me and there's not a single well-performing Nine at tourneys. What is she supposed to be good at?
Also, why is her, like, basic fucking combo so fucking hard to execute? Crimson Raider into 4A is such a pain in the ass. Delaying Susanoo's j.B to extend his combo after the air spin is so much easier.

unless you plan on playing in tourneys, meta is pretty irrelevant. that said, nine is very well rounded, has great set-play/okizeme, dominates neutral most of the time, and is generally annoying to play against. tldr play whoever you want: learning neutral and footsies will be far more important.

She's good, solid high-mid tier. Your gameplan is basically just trying to use your extremely disjointed normals to secure a knockdown and then kill your opponent with looping setplay with either kunzite to maintain pressure or morganite> j.2A unblockables. For the BNB, the 214A>4X link is a bit difficult but it's just about finding where to input it during the delay. Also I think you're supposed to use 4C instead of 4A for some reason that I don't remember. >>717723710

Fair enough. I just wish there was a good Nine in competition that I could study cause any time I see a Nine they get folded and the character consequently ends up looking kinda ass.

Yeah, as long as both people have the improvement mod, you can see each other's custom colors. This also means that you can run into invisible Hazamas in ranked, forcing you to disable it before each game.

Ranked is an enigma to me, sometimes you'll see 8 3 bar connections all online at the same time, and other times it's one Japanese dude with a 0-1 bar connection and no one else.
