It freezes non stop, gets error, my pc randomly restarts and the installer is "corrupted" after so i have to recheck or redownload the whole 40 GB

I don't have this issue but repacks are really fucking annoying and I'm sick of them. Fucking third worlders would rather have their PCs take a million years to install than just download a proper thing.
Maybe I should give Outer Worlds a try. Avowed was genuinely pretty fun. But it just looks so reddit and everyone I heard that I trust talking about it says that it's boring.

Repacks were originally made because the internet in rural Russia/Ukraine/Belarus was still shit 15-20 years ago, and custom software builds were always commonplace. How did they become popular outside of there is beyond me. Do retards just look at them and think "ooohhh, small filesize, must be good" (read it in Homer Simpson's voice)?

I had a 13900 fail on me, and one of the problems was the Starfield FG installer would either BSOD me or give a CRC error and die.
Ever since I replaced it, I've never had such problems.

Speaking of piracy - I've been out of the loop for a while but what's the deal with "steam emulators"? I'm trying to find a game from sites, looking for the obvious fit girl or codex or whatever but it's just "clean files" with "Goldberg emulator" or something?
I don't know why I need an emulator to play a steam game now....

I have never had an issue with FG parks. Just verify files before attempting install. Sometimes files get corrupted.

Its simply a lot better than using repacks. "Clean" means no cracks or anything needed as it was simply just ripped from steam. The entire game is unedited basically. The emulators like Goldberg is what lets you run the game as steam games rely on small steam components/files in order to run. Its so retard friendly that all you're doing is copying and pasting the emulator files to your game's .exe directory and run the game as normal. You can pick and choose if you want shit like trophies, online, Steam UI, etc. by simply just adding the files to their right folders.

Basically all what repacks do except you know what's being installed and really, you're not even installing anything as all the files, both game and emulator, are already laid out.
