I'm not so sure,on the last video on the Mundfish channel, the Team Clout dev leader says that Mundfish is "providing financial and expert support", which I think means Mundfish has completely taken over and Team Clout is just thre because they came up with the concept of the game.
Same reason as why team Clout released nothing but concept art and a few pre-rendered trailers for years, but as soon as Mundfish comes in as publisher, they have two in-game trailers.

They want you to do too many gimmick runs for achievements for my taste, but enjoy.
Getting all the achievements in OG RE4 was more my speed. Just beat the game on pro, get all the bottle caps, and you're golden.
Maybe there should've also been achievements for mercs and the Ada modes, but whatever. I still did them.

The point about getting mikami’s blessing also highlights my own point about teams these days just not trying to screw things up. Mikami would’ve put a thumbs up if you found a way to juggle enemies in a horror game. Needing his blessing means you’re not trying to screw it up. The team needs gameplay and mechanical boldness, but personally I don’t know how much games the designers of the new games even play. Mikami and Kamiya were born in the arcade. They had to forge their own path, not lift up an old franchise. Different situations, and I feel bad for them. But they should still throw shit out the win do even if it pisses off the fans

A big reason why the games feel like they’re going backwards is because the zombie interactivity has been stripped. It makes sense in a way as RE4-6 were quite ridiculous. In RE7’s main campaign the lack of interactivity was fine as a return to form, though the dlcs chickened out, but I honestly thought they were turning a new leaf with RE2make with each limb being dismemberable. I figured in future games they’d return to some light melee but make wrestling with zombies very difficult and nerve racking but it never came to fruition.

RE3make and RE8 were total disappointments in that regard and I think that the future RE’s will rely a lot more on theatrics than actual gameplay to get the blood pumping, but this turns the franchise into something else entirely
