While everyone likes to joke that INT builds are for pussies and easy, the truth is STR builds are for the actual retards that never quite figured out what the words "strategy" or "interactive gameplay" mean and just want to get rewarded for pressing a single button no matter the circumstances.
INT is the actual thinking man's build, not just due to its name, but also because its so god awfully weak (in elden ring) that killing a single boss requires magnitudes the amount of skill than all STRannies combined.

STR capitalizes on positioning and timing way more than any other build. The real pussy build is DEX. Just spam roll and jump attacks, if you die you know a bit more about the pattern so you'll roll better next time, rinse and repeat.

What positioning, STR builds are the only ones who can fully capitalize on poisebeast charged R2 spam into easy posture breaks.
What's worse is that two-handing lets them and only them break the 99 stat cap AND FROM also added the two handing talisman with SOTE to give STR even more damage than before so effectively STR builds have both the strongest DPS and the strongest tanking capabilities with somehow less investment than any other build, STR is for literal coddled retards.
And what did DEX get? A bunch of shitty powerstanced weapons that also got nerfed immediately because STR babies couldn't deal with getting zoned out.
What did casters get? A fucking talisman that ups their virtual dex to 70...at the cost of taking 30% more damage, lmaooooooooo

Alright brahs I'm planning to do a new playthrough and this time finish the whole game + dlc. I've always stopped at the last 1/4. But now I'll finish it once and for all.
Should I go Str or Dex? (no Int cuz dats gay).

It was actually disturbing just how much mages were shafted in the dlc.
All the spells they got are either downgrades of others or if they're original, using them in combat is infeasible.

Great Katanas are not even actual DEX weapons outside of Rakshasa's which actually leans more on DEX than the other two, and the Great Katana itself is much better on STR/ARC than it is on either pure DEX or DEX/ARC since you're going to two hand it anyway given the one handed moveset is trash.
