There is more supply than demand, which is why a lot of studios are closing. Gen Z has vastly less purchasing power than the gen before them, because society isn't kind to young people. Graphics improvements are barelyt noticable unless you zoom in on faces or do side by side comparisons.

All these factors add up to the fact that the whole industry is going to crash. Even indie games are getting stale and boring and void of creativity.
