>Sides with the evil cult that kidnapped her as a child and did experiments on her
>Helps them to kidnap and experiment on fellow students
>Starts a war of conquest with two foreign powers her country is on friendly terms with for no reason
>Destroys the church for no reason even though all they've ever done is help people
>Hates dragons for no reason even though all they ever did was hide the fact that humans used to make weapons out of their bones and drink their blood
What did she do right again?

Rhea hid a lot more than that
She was planning on getting rid of the cult afterwards

>hides stuff that would harm her race
>hides stuff that would make humans go on a witch hunt against other humans
That's about it, she also made technological progress be slower and more streamlined to avoid more nukes.

You make it sound like dragons were a victim here, and that they didn't say "Hey humans, do this thing, it'll be awesome."

Edelgard repeats all the same mistakes that Rhea did when making Adrestia, and Hubert even kills people Edelgard orders to keep alive and she doesn't bother to punish him for it. Edelgard ultimately just wants to control all of Fodlan out of bitterness that Adrestia's maximum borders, gained via conquest, shrunk over the years as people got sick of being oppressed. She blames all of her problems on that loss of territory that made Adrestia not dominate everything.

It took me a long time to realize Edelgard wasn't supposed to be flawless. A lot of her motivation comes from horrible childhood trauma and that'a conpletely understandable. I appreciate 3H more seeing how the characters cope differently with similar struggles.

Yep so killing her was completely justified

My issue with her route is that you never get to fight the slithers. There should have been a map or two after the Rhea fight where you wrap up the slither war.

Must you continue to reconquer? To kill in retaliation?

She’s doing the Arvis strategy of allying with the secret mole people controlling the continent hoping that by the time they help put her in power she’ll have figured out how to destroy them before they take over.

>not usually into role reversal
>not usually into heavily out of character stuff
>but really like the idea of Edelgard secretly being extremely submissive to Rhea, where she would completely do as told if they were in private
Why
