I only played a demo of the very beginning where you're introduced to the basic concept of the game which is great but it ends before you get farther in and realize it sucks so I have good memories of it

Honestly the scariest Silent Hill.
The ghosts in particular impress me with how unsettling they are despite just being floating dudes. The way the move, the way they come out of the walls and chase you, the way they block your path and can't be killed. Then there's the anxiety over protecting Eileen and the apartment hauntings that make you feel like you're never safe.
The actual room part of the game was a pretty cool idea. Going back to a hub area and doing / seeing different shit there. Finding little easter eggs, and shit. And then having it become unsafe. Pretty good if you ask me.

Every enemy using stock sounds kept ruining it for me. How am I supposed to get immersed when I hear the jaguar from Turok every time a dog jumps at me?

the indie game room premise is great
the bad survival horror part is bad
the focus on a romanticized amerifat movie style serial killer from a japanese perspective is nauseating
For some reason I played the shit out of SH4, and it was the only one where I ended up getting all of the unlocks. I actually enjoyed how the combat felt in it which is really weird for that type of game and can probably still remember where all of the swords are and which ghosts to stab.

That's because there was actually combat mechanics instead of it being >ready weapon >spam
And that filters most people. I enjoyed having a charge attack and back steps that mattered and if you work with Eileen she's an excellent asset.
She's really only a hindrance if you're trying to get a high star score/speed run

I love it. But it might just be because it was the first SH I was exposed to and I have fond childhood memories of watching my friend's big sister play it at night. (She had massive titties and wasn't fat).

Yeah, this is the only among the first few that I'd call mediocre. I think it has some interesting ideas, but I don't like the overall product

If you talk to normalfags you'll find an alarming amount of them cannot handle the stress of playing video games and dying in them causes real distress, so its a (You) problem
The idea of a limited inventory forcing you to choose between gear for ghosts and normal monsters was neat in concept, but having to juggle key items too ruined it.

I don't think he understood what the special favor even was. Too autistic. Probably thought she'd give him some rare pokemon cards or something.

Ive 10.2 starred the game and can confirm this despite any future sperging out that might occur and turn into a pointless back and forth. The candles are temporary and don't fix the shit job you did playing the game at the end.

She literally died because she was trying to save him. Either she wanted that dick THAT bad, or she was a hooker with a heart of gold trope.
