>The whole Anti-Memetics saga
The worse part about that series is how overplayed it's become in the community.
It's supposed to be a branch of the Foundation that deals with impossible to remember shit, and from that simple pov, it works.
But then people turned it into this whole "We suffer in silence, remembering what others cannot" sort of schtick that comes off as forced and contrived situations created soley to make whoever that episodes OC is look badass.
Don't get me started on the whole main plot where their trying to find some sort of lab to stop a anti-meme plague or something from infecting the world, and what do they find?
A big space, a nuke/bomb, and a note telling them to "kill themselves lol lmao", and the cycle repeats.
And it sucks because theres some really cool ideas in there, whole human civilizations lost and ruined that can never be found because their behind a memetic filter and unable to be seen or touched. That's a cool idea, and it suffers from being lumped together with the absolute shitpile that is anti-memetics.
