A final thing to keep in mind is that for Metal Gear, English actors are not Kojima's focus. His voice cast is the Japanese cast, and his Snake is Akio Ootsuka, who voices him in every game. Kojima's involvement with the English dub was, in fact, very limited beyond wanting further script checking after MGS1 and 2 up until MGSV where mocap became an integral part of the process.
