videogames honestly ruined my life
I failed 11th grade and decided enough was enough and threw away my gaming laptop and got a shitty laptop that couldnt play games but i didn't understand how bad it really was because i kept wanting to play games even on my shitty laptop with intel integrated graphics (this was in 2018 btw) but I powered through highschool and then went into university and now have a nice job, only happened because i was friends with very hardworking people and that got me to grind for a job too, I now have a job, gf and my own place and also investing in index funds. I don't think it wouldve been possible if I kept on playing videogames. I still get urges to play games sometimes imaging how cozy it would be if i could get a nice gaming pc and play csgo for 8 hours
