Thing is that casual sandbox fps is a genre for people that don't really love fast-paced FPS (look at how people sneered at BF6 having something as small as a slide) and Finals is very fast-paced.

It's not really a pure sweaty competitive game, it's between casual and esports. I think that makes it really fun, but the average BF4 stan that just wants to spray at corners in operation locker forever isn't going to be won over by a game where they have to take it at least a little seriously.

I'm not even close to diamond but I'm seeing db+dash/invis use drop off a cliff now that the sword is viable again. Light is overpowered in other ways for sure, but that specific combo seems to be getting less popular again thank God. It'll likely still catch a nerf (hoping they nerf dash itself), and I'll bet money ARN becomes the new light meta. Use it anyways, there's instances where it shines even without needing to communicate. It doesn't just work for your mobility, it works for the enemys mobility too. Plus, you can counter enemy demats when defending which is huge. Also all lights are line wolves unless proven otherwise.

Yes, absolutely, but there's also a point where it's literally just too high. Just like it'd be objectively too low if I needed to use my entire desk for a 90 degree flick. It's a common issue for casuals where their sens is so cranked up that they don't even have a chance to develop genuinely good aim.
