Bomberman 94, Super Bomberman 5, Bomberman 64, 2nd Attack, Saturn Bomberman, Bomberman Online (DC), and Power Bomberman
- '94 is the most polished, fully realized, and exemplary representation of what a bomberman game should be, multiplayer was mature at this point, the series villain Bagular is introduced, you can ride the Louies and it's the last main pc-engine title. in the US we got Mega Bomberman for the genesis. It's the same game but with little compromises.
- Super Bomberman 5 is the last game for the SFC. has branching paths, fantastic multiplayer, and there's elements from previous sufami games thrown at you alongside original content.
- 64 is where they brought the series to 3D on the N64. They throw elements of action and puzzle games at you. it's meaty, challenging, and the series never did anything like this ever again until 2nd attack, which is also good.
- Saturn Bomberman is the perfect followup to '94, everything they did in that game is heightened in this one. Saturn is the MOST EXTRA BESTEST representation of the series. Mujoe makes his debut here.
- Bomberman Online's single player campaign is very good. it's presented like a tournament and you face off against organized militias of underlings. Once you extinguish them you fight the boss of each respective gym, you jabroni.
- Power Bomberman is this HUGE fanmade game that's like Saturn Bomberman but it's on PC and FREE. It's like a museum that you can play online. Fans made a better game than the current owners, lmao.
honorable mentions
- Jetters, Generations, and Bomberman MAX are worth playing for the charabom aspects.
- Super Bomberman 3 is like if someone described '94 to another team and they made a game based on those aspects for the SFC. a lot of the sufami titles are like this.
- Bomberman Hero. A 3d platformer but Shiro changes aspects of his body depending on the terrain of his missions. It ain't great but it's memorable. OST is 10/10 GOAT stuff of legends.
