BASED vegetarian
the point of this discussion to me is that you atleast are actually a person actually posting his work and having an opinion and perspective that made choices to the best of his abilities
i might not love your work, but whatever you actually made and shared with the world is something nobody can take away from you

I personally do not give a shit about coding or how computers work but like videogames, so i understand the perspective
from a visual perspective I really dislike the idea that the "meaningful decisions" in terms of look, execution, direction, subtext etc we used to take for granted to atleast be made by humans is now being taken away
that is less important than asking ai "program a fov slider from 60 to 150 hor" or something

the selfish framing is projection
I don't really care for stuff that isn't intentionally made by someone because they cared for it
and generated stuff muddies those waters
people creating stuff with ai for the hell of it is fine, but I do think we're now at a watershed moment where it will become harder to even come past the "why would i care to even look at this?" if it's way easier and faster for ai imagery to drown out stuff actually made by humans
it's like the dead internet theory but for imagery
