I unironically switched to CS Source. $10 to filter thirdies, 4GB hdd space and looks and plays peak cs without siege slop UI, anticonsumer skin crate cancer or EOMM. Hell you can download custom skins for free.

The day valve takes CSS off the store is the day I walk away forever. Sadly I see it in the cards.

its been two years, i like the game overall (since its cs and theres no substitute) but if it wasnt for free steambux i wouldnt be playing, there are too many cheaters for the game to be enjoyable

They took down GO because they knew people wouldn't want to switch over, same as with how it was with CSS back in the day and how all major tournaments stuck with 1.6.

cheaters and smurfs are the only issues I have with it, sadly 95% of matches are against them

I'm a newbie and have been playing it. Super fun at competitive. I'm playing against other silver shitters, no one really knows how to play it and that's great.

Casual is awful. There's too many people but there's also the fact that people nearly instakill me as soon as they see me. I prefer the silvershitters that give me a chance to fight back.

I swear I'll never learn recoil control. I can spend 2 hours in the recoil training map, but it only takes 5 minutes of a real match to completely forget it.

Well everyone is on their way to become "good at it", but being proficient at aiming is a very big obstacle. CS2 is the first FPS I play for more than 5 hours so there is a lot of catch-up to do.

Also it's insane how good of a FPS it is. I was trying the battlefield beta and shit was boring. Barely any recoil or spread, people can snipe people halfway across the map with assault rifles that have laser precision, the only thing holding them back is damage decay over long distances. I love CS2's system, you can feel every individual bullet you fire.

Fuck yes. I love doing it subtly. The first ~5 rounds I'll play it straight. Then I'll start throwing smokes at very inconvenient places by "accident". Then comes the molotovs. At the last few rounds I'll stand in front of teammate and lock them in corners when possible, forcing them to kill me. And at very decisive rounds I'll just kill my teammates while minding the 2 kill limit.

The best part is that 50% of the time someone gets super mad and kills me at the start of a round, not knowing that's an instant ban

Because the game is completely flooded with bots and cheaters, the game is broken and Valve is retarded and forgot that a good chunk of their players are thirdies that have shit PC's that already struggled with CSGO.
I suppose the funniest part is that even CSGO was always full of cheaters and was broken 24/7 too. The only thing that really changed is that the game is unoptimized dogshit too now, Valve drones gonna spend their whole life riding their dick until they die.
