I got a saddle chair. It was initially for my drawing table, but I haven't bought a computer chair yet. The saddle keeps my posture good so it doesn't feel uncomfortable.

You can cheap out on a desk, fuck just get a plastic table and it will last you your whole life. Chairs on the other hand are you get what you pay for

I bought a solid oak top table with metal screw in legs for £15 and a mesh back office chair for £25 at a charity shop. There's next to no arse cushioning so I have to use a pillow for now. Back's comfy. I'll look for a proper office when I've got more money saved. The table is rock solid though. Just needs the top sanded and recoated further down the line.

I got a spindle chair lift cylinder and used that in my office chair instead of the pressurized one. The only downside is that I need to stand up when I want to adjust it but I'm also not sitting on a bomb.
