There are none. Even installing based mods won’t fix the situation because the entire game is inherently woke-coded. Its dialogues are written in a California style, and its very essence is a colorful onions dumpster fire. Changing the skin color of a couple of NPCs won’t fix the awful dialogues, awful characters, awful companions, or awful story.
The combat can’t be saved either because the game is built on 5e trash and was deliberately made primitively absurd for people with bread for brains. There’s no proper build-crafting, no challenge, and no interesting encounters.

There was a mod that added a bunch of equipables distributed randomly across the world that gave a few different skills you cant usually get. It was cool if you had played the game before, since the base game loot is static everytime you replay it. Some of them were OP though i remember, like adding extra damage to your attacks

I wiped once in Act 1 and then second run went perfectly fine I never went more than two down in a fight in act 2 and no more than 1 in act 3. I killed Raphael without barrel cheese, I assaulted Gortash directly at the coronation (there were so many fucking steel watchers oh my god) and killed Ansur and every other second-rate boss
Only thing I cheesed was the very final encounter. I used a stealth/sleight of hand maxed (needs items from act 1/2) halfling hireling hidden in a darknes cloud to steal Globe of Invulnerability scrolls for everyone through spamming long rests
then I almost got wiped by rng at the very end when nuking the netherbrain itself
Act 1 is made a lot easier by having a CHA stacked bard use Faerie Fire to give you free Advantage
Always run anti-crit pieces by the time you get to the creche. You get three in Act 1 (grymskull + 2 adamantine shield/armor) and you can yoink Helldusk Helmet immediately and safely in Act 3 by respeccing characters specifically to do that for a fourth one (you just get the helmet and fuck off afterwards)

For example, the game lets you seamlessly traverse large maps with many named NPCs on them without any loading screens or obvious time wasting sections This means that a lot of assets have to be put on the docket to be loaded in at all times, so that you can't outrun their ability to be loaded from the drive. There is no way around that and compressing those files too heavily would make the above untenable due to load times.
