I legitimately believe this might be the single worst remake of all time.
At least with something like FF7 it's basically an entirely different game, this is like if they took your childhood home and put every piece of furtniture 5cm to the left or enlarged it all by 5%.
And also filled it with unnecessary interruptions to tell you where to go.

Something like FF7R is worse. It strays too far from the original, while MM3D is still close enough to the original that it can be fixed with a mod (project restoration). You can't just mod FF7R to be faithful to the original.

No. Just like OoT3D, it has too bright, too pastel-y colorset, too much weird design changes, and some outright censorship. The character animations are still floaty and stiff compared to the N64 OG, and the ridiculous "giant weakspot eye" addition on ALL bosses is batshit insane.

Definitely not. WC3 and demon souls are both way worse. MM3D does have all the hallmarks of a bad remake however, like the absolute destruction of the original art style.
