Yeah I played through up to St Denis when Arthur started to get sick because I knew exactly how the story would end from the second the old guy coughed on him. I restarted and tried to skip that mission but then just dropped it.
It's funny you can hijack trains and drive them because the game is entirely on railroad tracks. An open world is fucking pointless when you can't do what you want in it.

I've bought Dark Souls 2 4 times (refunded once) throughout my life. I've never beaten it, and I honestly have no interest in ever doing so. I lacked the drive as a teenager when I was fresh off of beating DS1, and now that I'm an adult with responsibilities, there's simply no time.

A special 'fuck you' to SOTFS for being GANK SIMULATOR 2K16.

When I was a kid I was such a huge fan of the Mario & Luigi RPG series that I traded like two dozen games in to Gamestop just to get Bowser's Inside Story. They bought my copy of Pokemon Emerald with the box and manuals and everything for $15, then put it up on the shelf the next day used for $40. They even bought one of my games for like 30 cents and I didn't notice because I was just a dumb kid. On the bright side it's made me nearly immune to new game hype for the rest of my life, but on the other I feel disgusted that a business would take advantage of kids that don't know any better like that (and obviously I miss my fucking games). I don't blame my parents at because I love them and they didn't really know any better either, but they happened to enter into this "we're going to teach you the value of money by encouraging you to sell things you don't need any more" phase right at the time of that one specific game's release when I was at my most hype-vulnerable and it fucked me over big time. The game being mid was such salt in the wound that it turned me off the series forever.

Other than that I guess Starbound kinda seriously shit the bed and it's a shame because it was really fun in its earlier builds.

In general all the games I bought during the PS3/360 gen as they are worthless resale wise compared to games from older gens. I bought around 300 games between the 360 and ps3 and id say each of them is only reselling for about 5 bucks.

I bought the big Gamestop bundle that came with a case, a physical copy of Uncharted:Golden Abyss, 16GB card and $25 of PSN funny money. Can't remember how much it was but it was too much I'm sure.

And then I got to play high quality bangers like

And it was just a complete waste of money and time all around.

The Killzone was pretty good I guess.

I went through hoops to get access to my old DLsite account to buy some preggo tagged porn games ( I was very depressed and had a bunch of extra cash on hand, already put half away into savings)
stuff I bought ended up being reuploads of terrible games I had already played through from F95, and some fetish slop that was very well illustrated but ended up having zero actual sexual content, or even fetish content I could jack off to.

BF2042, and like a starved retard fell for the hype hard on the gameplay trailer. Avoided any other spoilers and /v/ threads like the plague and didn't play the beta to keep my hype up, only to get kicked in the nuts. BF6 is okayish if the beta is anything to go off of, but I'll wait to see how the full game delivers

That's a shame that you didn't finish FF16.

It didn't happen to me, but my friend pre-ordered Battleborn Digital Deluxe edition.

Nothing in particular, just decided I really wasn't going to buy a PS5 for one game, mostly.

>$80 for three half-assed DS ports
>new bugs, painfully ugly UI / font in the English version, all "HD" art compressed to shit and full of jpg artifacts
I just wanted to support my favorite (dead) series...

Man, same. I preloaded that trainwreck thinking Bioware still had some gas in the tank. Got maybe two hours in before the uncanny valley faces and stiff animations made me want to refund, but nope - already too late. Felt like paying full price to beta test a fan-made spin-off. Never again.

I've spent around $250 on MTG Arena, which isn't even that outrageous when it comes to how much people spend on card games, but even after years of not touching it I still feel mad.
