And possible MANY others.
I caved and bought a modern fucking Pokemon game because all my 2½ friends got it at launch. This was in 2013 and I'm still coping.
I've bought Dark Souls 2 4 times (refunded once) throughout my life. I've never beaten it, and I honestly have no interest in ever doing so. I lacked the drive as a teenager when I was fresh off of beating DS1, and now that I'm an adult with responsibilities, there's simply no time.

>>717781473Literally me. I played MGS4 in one sitting and I think part of me died.
>>717780063 (OP)When I was a kid I was such a huge fan of the Mario & Luigi RPG series that I traded like two dozen games in to Gamestop just to get Bowser's Inside Story. They bought my copy of Pokemon Emerald with the box and manuals and everything for $15, then put it up on the shelf the next day used for $40. They even bought one of my games for like 30 cents and I didn't notice because I was just a dumb kid. On the bright side it's made me nearly immune to new game hype for the rest of my life, but on the other I feel disgusted that a business would take advantage of kids that don't know any better like that (and obviously I miss my fucking games). I don't blame my parents at because I love them and they didn't really know any better either, but they happened to enter into this "we're going to teach you the value of money by encouraging you to sell things you don't need any more" phase right at the time of that one specific game's release when I was at my most hype-vulnerable and it fucked me over big time. The game being mid was such salt in the wound that it turned me off the series forever.
Other than that I guess Starbound kinda seriously shit the bed and it's a shame because it was really fun in its earlier builds.
Dariusburst Chronicle Saviours. Spent £42 on it, only to get to play it for 40 minutes before it just crashed on startup forever.
