Infamous had two pretty unexpected twists in the plot that have stuck with me over the years.
The first is when your extremely loyal best friend character suddenly betrays you in the most horrible way possible and then later you find out that the main antagonist is yourself time traveled back from the future to train yourself to be stronger so you can defeat the villain that you lost to in the original timeline
