There's not a single line of dialogue in either Paper Mario TTYD GameCube or Switch remake that confirms Vivian has a coming out story as trans. Nothing indicates this in the English script. Vivian is treated as a tomboy by her mean spirited older sister who goes too far. Ever watched Mean Girls? Girls operate like this, calling someone they have jealously over as ugly. Siblings call their younger brother little girls if they scream frightened. Vivian, a biological girl, does not have a coming out tranny story in Paper Mario, period.

Are you doing this on purpose? In the English script, which is what we're using on 4chan an English website in North America, the oldest sibling bullied Vivian by calling them a boy over and over. In real life sibling relationships can mirror this behavior but not nearly as toxic as the Shadow Sisters (or whatever the oldest calls them) do it to Vivian. When I read that line I infer "My sisters kept telling me I was a boy over and over, when I'm a girl. They treated me harshly for being a tomboy". Is what what's literally saying? No, but it's inferred by any English speaker as that's what's happening.
