works for my puposes, takes up a billion times less hdd space than unity and a trillion less hdd space than unreal; and when you're dealing with development assets, hdd space can be an issue

It's alright. Has its quirks, but it's fast to set up and do stuff in.

this and its not even close>>717785461. Do you really need the size of the engine to be say more than 1gb? Shit is lightning fast and lunches test projects in seconds. Unless you doing high res slop you shouldn't touch any other engine, even though im sure if you really want Godot can do it too.

Can it do things at a level like Unity or are we not quite there yet?

I remember one anon saying it was better to use C# coding or something when working with 3d, but so far it's been able to do everything I want it to do in 3d with gdscript fine.

I haven't made much with it yet beyond tutorials yet, was hoping to use it for a game jam. However so far It's amazing to have an engine that doesn't take a million years to open/install/compile/build/ do literally fucking anything
