OK, you get a different flavor of the same raids you were already fighting before. Ally with factions? Congrats you get different merchants. Factions fighting each other? This literally has nothing to do with you besides seeing dots change color on a map. Invade an enemy faction settlement? You go through all that effort and for what, to turn off raids and give less possible things that can happen to your base? Or maybe just no effect at all besides loot you probably don't need. It just doesn't affect /your/ colony enough. Thank god tynan and co aren't dumb enough to think this would make for good core expansion material

For me it was the tiberium mod that adds the GDI and NOD factions alongside tiberium, tiberium used to work like contamination that fucks the whole map if you don't have enough research or get a unlucky tib meteor on the first year.

Would be cool to have a more nuanced stat on factions than just a love meter. Something like a fear meter to keep them from fucking with you as much sounds very much inline with how people already like to play.
