>>717791147 (OP)two come to mind:
Undertale is one, the game is not in my top 10, its probably in my top 20 tough
however, its one of the best vidya stories ive seen, told in the most inventive way ive seen a vidya story being told, i was frankly astonished, different playthroughs made me feel sad, excited, frustrated and dejected, the difference between true pacifist and genocide route is so vast, the game is almost unrecognizable
MGS3: Subsistence is the other, ive finished that game so many times before, but almost 2 years ago, Konami re-released it, i replayed that game, for the first time in ages, heck it mightve been a decade since i had last replayed the game, and while part of the story doesnt hold up, pretty much everything else does, i also learned to appreciate the excellent cinematography of the cutscenes even more, and once you fully submerge in Kojima's wacky world, you stupid making questions such as "why can Volgin control electricity?" because the answer is, it doesnt matter, it doesnt need an answer and doesnt change anything about the plot
this game is my favorite game ever, my top 1, the closest games have gotten to perfection in my opinion and neither time nor Konami's shitty PC port could change my mind
