People fucking love "freedom fighter" narratives, even if the specifics of the conflict are complete nonsense. Just dress a side up as the scrappy underdogs and they'll be a lot of people's favorite characters just on reflex.

They were making a Star Wars game, which I hope was cancelled and made into another game, because the schizo stories David Cage comes up with are what make his games so memorable and fun to playthrough. All of his games are soulful, and the cringe makes it even better.

You can't just hire Tom Clancey Brown and expect him to just be a bitch for something he doesn't agree with. Cage should remember this and see who the most well received characters are going forward.

It's pretty obvious. Play ANY David Cage game and it's easy to see that he is an alien skinwalker trying to understand how we work.

It's really on the nose in its conflict but the choice/outcome stuff felt more like Heavy Rain than the nothing that was B2S, and the connor/hank storyline is genuinely enjoyable

Yeah no sorry was the female interest fucking a cold undead corpseman 2 days after developing a romance in a complete blizzard in indigo prophecy not enough of a hint on that matter

This game could easily benefit from a timeskip connor-only spinoff. Make it a prequel with lower stakes than "the fate of all androids" if you must
