Why do so many Japanese games have androgynou-esc male leads?
No, seriously, why? This isn't a bait thread for faggots, I genuinely wanna know. It's not like the nips are incapable of designing/writing masculine MCs, but it's still noticeably prevalent to anyone with eyes that they frequently add a slightly feminine touch to a lot of male characters in their media.
Why is that?

The Japanese idealize youthfulness over everything else. They consider everything above the age 25 old and ugly, which is why almost every anime/Japanese main character is below that age.
