Would it be worth it to run her at level 40 and borrow a MLB card like say Super Creek until I get one? Or should I keep borrowing MLB Kitasan and running my other cards? At 40 she's not getting the extra specialty priority but she is getting the power boost at least.

I think minmaxing anons forget to mention that this game can be perfectly enjoyed on a casual level without having to worry about having the most powerful cards or whatever. You can just do a career race here and you don't have to take it that seriously. There's a balance there for every type of player. Obviously most people here are more on the competitive side, but there's a lot of much more "chill" players that just enjoy the game at their own pace. It's certainly not too late to join, it only just launched a month ago. Even if you joined in two years it would still be fine.

If you are trying to sweat, the "best" support cards are going to have re-runs for the banners if you're that worried you missed out, and there's about to be a really good banner in the next day so it's not a bad time to get in at all, casual or serious player

The biggest hurdles to that, in my experience, have nothing to do with support cards. You can job pretty early on if you focus too heavily on building friendship, some careers will punish you for not having enough of one type of stat. Some characters have races that are definitely more of a designated stat check compared to others and those races act as a hurdle you need to prepare for in advance. For the URA itself it helps to rest and get your energy up as much as you can right before it due to the guaranteed rainbows you more or less get

Part of Mario Kart World’s gimmick are what are the huge open world right? The race tracks are scattered throughout, and there are roads connecting each track. When not playing free roam, these “connector” courses will sometimes come up in online, which many people werent a fan of. Why? Because there’s over 200 of them and they are all straight lines which leads to very boring races that encourages very scummy strategies and doesnt even reward skillful play.

There was a workaround though. To play the traditional 3 lap courses that have been the norm in EVERY MARIO KART, you could select random and it would guarantee a traditional 3 lap track, which are much better designed in general, the mario kart people know and love. So what happened is entire lobbies of 20+ people were ALL selecting random to avoid the shitty intermission tracks. Nintendo saw this and their decision was to make it so that random would only give you a 50% chance of getting a real track, thus resulting in MOST ONLINE RACES BEING SHITTY INTERMISSIONS. They received a ton of backlash for this, lots of people dropped the game, people that are diehard nintendofags/mario kart players and they did it begrudgingly because outside of the intermissions, the traditional tracks are really good.

Recently as damage control, nintendo released another patch that made intermissions less likely, but the damage has been done. Im a nintendofag and Ive seen them make a lot of really stupid decisions but that was quite possibly one of the worst updates theyve dropped for a game, and at a very bad time when that is THE main game on the Switch 2.

This is what you sound like. Uma is going to get more features and more modes in the near future because the Japanese version is way more developed. West is still playing the beta version, there’s a lot more coming. But yes of course the central mechanic is racing and training and breeding. Just like Mario Kart just without the training and breeding.

Just having good maxed SRs is enough for consistent A ranks. On the negative side, having good ones is somewhat important. SRs with no specialty priority are painful to use.

Genuinely what even was your point? The core gameplay loop for Uma is extremely addictive and that’s what keeps people playing. They dont need to add a fishing minigame or a fighting game or whatever the fuck you were implying by that comment because even if the game stayed as is (it’s not because this is a beta version with 5% of the content), people would still keep playing it for a while. It’s accessible and it’s free, along with just being fun. I cant say that for most games right now, even other gachas. The secret to why this one has caught on like wildfire IS the gameplay loop, not just the horse girls. People liked Princess Maker, but it was niche. People liked Digimon world, but the sequels fell short of the original. Both of those are two of the most notable “training games”. Uma Musume takes what those games do right and adds a fuck ton more complexity to the equation with infinite replayability and literally years of weekly updates to come. That’s without even getting into the anime/manga side of things as well. Uma is just getting started, it’s not going anywhere much to the chagrine of bronies.

I genuinely cannot tell what Nintendo was thinking. People were having fun playing the game. EVERYONE wanted to play on the traditional tracks. The controversy had solved itself. But they decided "Nope! You have to play on the shitty straight line tracks!" This isn't even a game where they're trying to sell you skins or anything. There's no reason to force players to play something they don't want to play. The only thing I can think of is they genuinely believed "if we force players to play the shitty boring tracks, they'll simply play longer so they can play the actual fun tracks!"

But the thing is, we already had knockout tour! But knockout tour only has EIGHT CUPS. The people who play knockout tour enjoy it because intermissions actually work well in that mode. They could have made more knockout tour cups, but nah. Gotta destroy the regular mode as well.
