People are bored of BotW when it sold what, 60M or something ridiculous? TotK did another easy 30M+ despite being glorified DLC. Nintendo already said they’re going to keep running with this “open air” format, why wouldnt they? We had 15 years of OoT clones. Why do we need to go back already?

There is no way they reuse the same map 3 times in a row at full retail price. It's also unlikely Nintendo spend the time to make an entirely new open world map after seeing how little appreciation the feature got in mario kart world and pokémon.
There's rumors going around that the next Zelda will literally be a ground-up OOT remake.
How much of that actually comes from reliable insiders, and how much of it youtubers going "if I say it enough times it'll probably happen" though who knows.

I don´t consider handheld Zeldas mainline, same as the Mousou.
The last mainline Zelda released 14 years ago and at this point, Souls games are more like Zelda than Zelda games are.
